Story and Star Cast of "Delhi-6"

Dostana' star Abhishek Bachchan and his family is in Jaipure celebrates his 33^rd Birthday. Now he moves to 33 Years Old. This years Abhishek Bhachhan first movie is Delhi-6 with co star Sonam kapoor. After getting Success in Rang De Basanti Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra is come up with his second Movie Delhi-6.

'Delhi-6' is a story of a young American boy of Indian origin, Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan), who comes to India for the first time, to drop his ailing grandmother (Waheeda Rehman) who wants to retire and spend the last leg of her life in the country where she was born in i.e. India.Little does he know that the quick trip will turn into the longest journey of his life - a journey within.

The another Character of this movie is Bittu (Sonam Kapoor) , who is looking for identity and expression and wants to break free from the typical Indian social structure, to whom Roshan is destined to lose his heart. In This Movie the Sonam Kapoor always sees with one Dove and its name is “Maskali” and from this name there is one song in this movie. And recently this song is popular everywhere.

The heart of the story is the ancient walled city of Delhi, better known as Chandni Chowk, a character in herself. The pin code of this old city is 110006. With pride and love they call it “DELHI – 6”.

Beautiful Sonam Kapoor

Beautiful Sonam Kapoor gets annoyed if you address her by her new nickname 'Kabootari' or 'Massakali'. She is happy that she is getting good response as the promo of Delhi 6 went on air but at the same time little upset as people started calling her by the new name after she was shown with a pigeon (named Massakali) on her head in a song composed by A R Rahman.

No sooner the song hit the small screen, people started teasing Sonam by that name and she felt little embarrassed ''Everywhere I go, people are calling me Massakali, Kabootari and all,'' complained the actress.

Delhi 6 is a Rakesh Omprakesh Mehra's film starring Abhishek Bachchan as the male lead. It is one of the biggest releases of 2009. It tells the story of American-born Indian, Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan) who brings his ailing grandmother back to India and something unwanted happened that has turned his quick trip into the longest journey of his life - a journey within.
